That is a nasty little hill, but you are up and over in less than 30 seconds. If you happen to pop back in or if anyone else knows. Where about are the mats placed? I keep seeing people say this run is long and uphill so it sucks, just curious how much of this up hill run is included in peoples swim times when looking at previous years results. Are you saying 30 seconds running up hill from getting out of the water to the mat? or like 30 seconds up hill for just the hill and then another 30 seconds to the mat? Just really been curious when trying to see where I may sit Thanks. After the swim, you hit the mat fairly early, then you're in T1...and the hill still looms...it's a long T1 for a sprint race... Oh wow awesome. I just kept hearing everyone say the hill before T1 sucked so I assumed that the swim times included some of this run up the hill. That's great news, I"ll probably do what I hoped to do in the swim then, need to get my bike speed up and since I'm still recovering from my achilles injury crawl the run It is my first race and I plan to just do it to have fun and finish it to motivate me to do more next year which is why it's getting done even if I hobble the run, but coming from a competive swimming background I need to at least push myself to try and finish in a certain place in the swim regardless if I am DFL overall... |
