Try practicing putting on the shirt wet, this will make your decision on what do to very easy.  I struggled with the shirt last year for about 15 seconds (felt like 45 seconds).  I wear a tri top now and dont have to change at all.

Practice with the socks too, the ones I use are a breeze, some people roll them and they say that helps.  Best thing to do is practice it a few times and see what works best for you.

This is a great place to learn, you will be way ahead of the other first timers. I know I was for my first one last year.

Congrats to everyone who raced today! It was hot but it was a blast.  This was my first Tri and all the athletes I met were great!  What a blast I had!
