I mean this as a caring older sister type.. If you would of worked harder yesterday and today would you still be sitting there at 6:15 on a Friday night waiting for somebody to review the contract? ETA: I mean yes. This came up as of this afternoon. The President came to me this afternoon and said "I need this to go out tonight". The CFO and I did some initial work before she and the treasurer got pulled into what turned out to be 5 hours worth of conference calls. So I finished the rest, but needed to wait until they came out to look at it. Since this is a contract for work we are doing in INDIA, I am not about to toss out a contract that hasn't been reviewed by upper management and risk losing this guy's business. This sort of thing happens ALL the time around here. Crap gets handed to me at the last minute that the architects knew about weeks ago - the drawins are already started and just now they are giving me the contract. Since I am not in any way involved in the design process, there is no way of knowing what they are working on until they give me a contract, or at least a heads up, which is rare. I may eff around on BT and feel incompetent at my job, but I get sh*t done in a timely manner. That's why I'm still here. Edited by wurkit_gurl 2008-09-05 5:29 PM
