D001 - 2008-05-07 12:54 PM I remember the time when you logged on drunk. LOL That was pretty funny.

Shall we have a Nibbs party sometime and ALL login with a bottle of wine?

Now THAT would be funny. Although I think that Kristen would need two bottles.

LOL! she might resemble resent that remark

True, but if we post a lot more tonight, she may not read back far enough to find it - and it would stay hidden among the pages of Nibbs. Then again, she might be like Sal. Mention cheesecake and he shows up.... It might depend upon the type of wine though.

LOL!

I've never heard her mention being picky about wine, although I'm sure she enjoys good wine more than bad wine - but then again - who doesn't?

I think I may recall something about Dry Reds being her favorite.... let's see if she appears now....

KRISTEN! Where are you? We've got a bottle of RED WINE ready and waiting!!!! (There. That ought to do it.)

maybe if you say it Louder and Slower?  LOL!

Heather,

that was truly an awesome post - it's fun to think about the milestones that we have supported each other through as a group!

Yes, that was a meaningful post, Heather. Good luck on your upcoming tri!

Ah, shucks... Thanks you guys.... I don't think I would have gotten nearly this far without NIbbs... It was my first challenge team (now that's something I should've put and forgot) and it provided a great experience that has carried me through. It's true!!

Okay, I DID go back and add that in... I felt it was pretty impt to the history of NIbbs.

true, very true!

I like to think the Nibbs have been a source of inspiration for lots of folks in the challenge forum

Its like its own little family/support network etc really!

Glad to hear you felt good about the ride Scott!

Thanks. I'm just having a rush of post divorce 'anger' and the fact that there are some things that can never be papered over or forgiven.

Acknowledge what is happening, accept that is the cause of your anger - then accept you cannot live in the past and now the divorce is final it is all about the future....

Exercise is a great mood enhancer too.. its great the ride helped and its a great non medicated way of moderating moods - especially those of anger, frustration or sadness!

You guys are too funny. (And it is true, I prefer GOOD red wine to BAD, but otherwise, not so picky...)

I was out drinking (too much) red wine with my colleagues (after they escaped lock down)...the party was planned anyway, but the mood seemed to call for excess wine.

Now I'm up way to early to go for a little run.

Hello everyone! I'm crawling out of my homework cave finally. I just submitted my last paper for the semester and now I have a week and a half of freedom until summer semester starts. I run my first ever 1/2 marathon this weekend ACK! I have not been training all that well I have just been soooooo busy that it is ridiculous.

Anyways, I am going to try to get in here more now that I have more time. I don't know what this summer semester will be like, but hopefully not as chaotic as this last semester was.

Morning Nibbs!

Kristen - so glad to hear that your colleagues are all ok! lots of wine - well, that just seems a must given the situation

Jeni!- so nice to *see* you! Congrats on making it through the school year and now it's time to enjoy the summer!  Good luck on your 1/2 Mary this weekend - I'm guessing that is the same one Sal (sparco) is running in

Hey Jeni!  I'll be running New Prague this Saturday as well.  Running with a friend...it's his 1st, but I have a feeling he's gonna run it hard and smoke me, which is fine, he's young, and I don't want to hold him back.  I'll look for you.  Bryan (mndiver) and his wife Kelly (lumpy) live down in New Prague, and they'll be running it as well.

Good luck on the race!  I feel like I'm not totally ready, but it's a great course with friendly peeps...

Yeah, but I'm exhausted mentally and physically. I may not go in today.

I think you need a day off.  What's the weather like today, other than the normal sunny and warm?

Morning Nibbs.

Welcome back to Nibbsville Jeni. Glad you made it through the semester and are going for your first 1/2 mary. Go girl!

Kristen, glad you weren't locked down and glad that all worked out well at the school. Scary times. It used to be that we all felt safe on college campuses (or at least we did when we were young and dumb, )

Okay, dropped off my car yesterday at the shop to get fixed. The rental they gave me is a "copper" chevy cobalt. "Copper" really means ORANGE!!! You can't miss the car. They see me coming for miles now. Someone at work laughingly said, "They won't rearend you now that they can see you"
