certainly!   notice how suzy is trying to look away from me, trying to prevent the ol' HR from skyrocketing.  notice i also shaved a bald spot just for her!!!

Those speedos cracked me up b/c I was listening to the Endurance Nation IMOO podcast a few weeks and the guy mentioned something about losing a bet and he would be out on that hill wearing a pink speedo.  I laughed then and wondered what it would look like.  Then I saw them on Ironman Coverage in transition w/ one of their athletes.  Too funny!

i should have been because my heart was pounding as I was filling out the waiver.
got kicked out of active with internal read errors, site too busy etc and now the f#@$ is sold out

hmm  sad.  p.o'ed!  how many extra eye exams do i have to do to do the community fund slot?   it'll be okay, i'll prolly go that route, but not fair!  i was even on the page where i filled out all the personal info as fast as i could and then when i hit submit.  error, then sorry, registration is closed.

okay, just re checked the website and it is saying it needs to re-launch cuz of problems with website!!!!  omg.  i am sitting here sooooooooo annoyed!

And now, i am going to risk it and finally hop in the shower, check back and hope the dang site gets relaunched soon

Any use in angry/pursuasive phone calls or emails? Not to get a-holish on people, of course, but pleading your case as bestest you can?? SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!!! So very, very sorry. In hindsight we should have set up a conference call with about 5 people registering for you on our various computers/networks and when one finally is complete the other 4 could abort. Next year...

yes, john, i saw that after my first post...did you see my second post about relaunch? I have hope...if they do announce a new time or date, maybe Kyla's suggestion would work. I'll let u guys know. For now, am stuck next to computer, but have errands to run! Aiyah!!!

I'm saying this now but don't hold me to it, "never again will I do a race with 5000ish participants."  The Nation's Tri is a very well run event but their goal of being the largest tri in the country or is it world makes this such a less desirable race.  I still had fun, learned a lot and glad I did it but next time I'll aim for something with less people.

Twin--look in the IM distance forum and look on your credit card to see if there is a charge.  It seems a lot of people had your issue, but have the charge on the card.
