Stilll the same as last week - 151.0. I've been here all year even w/ all of my upped miles and same eating habits.
Does anybody have a quick, easy way of keeping a food journal? I just don't have time to enter things online. I tried fooddiary.com and a notebook. My big problem is that I eat mostly food that I prepare myself. So it's alot of work to figure out the serving info.
And I eat all grass-fed meat which I strongly believe is lower in fat and calories than conventioanl meat. So that info. is hard to find as well when figuring nutritional value.
I also find it hard to keep a food journal. I do most of my cooking myself and have a kitchen scales for proportion sizes. I have found if you start by computing the caloric information of your favorite foods per oz. and keep this information handy it will be easier to keep a journal and figure total intake. If you will do it for three weeks you will have all information that you need. We normally eat the same thing so you will just have to look back for information. I have use an excel spreadsheet and after some time it did not take very long to log daily intake.
I also recommend a small kitchen scales for measuring out portion sizes. This is a big one for me; I tend to eat too much whether it is rice or cake. I have to be aware of portion sizes and the scale has helped.
As for grass feed meats 1 oz of fat = 1 oz of fat, 1oz lean meat =1 oz lean meat no matter what was use to feed animal. You might try http://www.calorieking.com/for calorie information.
Keep up good work and you will meet your goals!
