I am going to be out of town with no computer for two days of the challenge....how will that work? I have to put failed? Wah! ;>

I need to make sure I am shooting for the right number of calories. Anyone know a good way to determine that? My last guestimate came from the gym trainer.

Without actual testing, it's always a guesstimate, but here's a calculator for basal metabolism:

http://www.dmafitness.com/samp_weight.htm

And here is a pretty comprehensive list of calorie counts for activities:

http://www.nutristrategy.com/activitylist4.htm

Figure it, add it, weep! :D

I could upgrade my blackberry service for one month and do it from there.   Or it might be better to not to log what is eaten on one weekend away. ;>P

So I go to weigh in tonight and then consume a bunch of crap since this starts tomorrow right Just kidding. However I don't have anything planned but I feel like crap I have been eating cookies and chocolate the last few days. My body feels better when I eat healthier so why such a draw to the crap. If someone could figure this out they would be a millionaire.

simple. Fat has 9 calories per gram (4 per gram of protein/carb), so it's the preferred method of storage for when times are lean. Your body is hardwired to want fat.

I thought I put IN earlier?

...goes looks...

Oops. Blank. Yeah, that's been about my day today.

Yeah, I'm in. I'm great at talking the talk, but I don't walk the walk so much. Although this was a much better week, I only fell off the wagon (hell, f'n leaped off the wagon yesterday) once.

I need to see if I can get down below 170, Jot doesn't think I can...

Alright challenge spreadsheet is up:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=p0ZP4BZpS3rcNWEVfb-wyXw&hl=e...

Rules are pretty simple. Log your nutrition in one of two ways.
1. Write down what you eat for each meal and snack and use the BT nutrition logger to keep track of calories, carbs, fat and protein. See my log for example

2. If you log your nutrition on another site log what you eat and the amount of calories in your BT log.
Example
B: 3 powdered donuts - 800c
Sn: Toast and Butter - 160c
L: Double whopper and chicken fries - 1400c
Sn: Apple - 80c
D: McFlurry with Big Mac chaser - 1600c

etc.

Enjoy the challenge!

Thanks for the spreadsheet Robot. I was relieved to see that we just get a point for each day and no information such as total calories and fat goes on that spreadsheet

My healthy foods are packed and my nutrition log is filled in for today.

If I eat more/less or at a different time than I expect then I'll adjust it tonight.

My daily total is better today than the other day I practiced. Today is:

1541 calories, 273.29g carbs, 88.55g protein, 22.38g fat

I just remembered my No Pudge brownie is on the counter ready to put in a baggie. I'll add that tonight when I know when I ate it
