Wooohooo....I am so happy.  I finally hit the 20lbs mark.  I have lost 20lbs since January...a long battle....now 80 more to go.  At this rate it's going to take me 2 more years...lol

~ AZ Sunshine ~ - 2009-07-01 10:09 PM I'd like to join!  Thanks so much for doing this.  It is so motivating.  My starting weight as of today is 198.4.  My goal this month is 193.  My longtime healthy goal is 170.

About me:  I'm training for my first half Ironman.  I am getting exercise but I can't seem to lose weight.  I know I need to control my eating and red wine intake.  Maybe I will start weight watchers?  Wish me luck!

WW...phhhhtttttttttttttt!  We are here for you.  If it comes in crinkly wrap DON'T EAT IT!!!

Yes I'm still here.  First of the month, Wednesday fell short of june's mark of 212.  Still trying to hit it.

Pool swim today, lunch was cucumber slices wrapped with a slice of turkey breast and dipped in coarse ground mustard.

My time for the TS July 4th 10K is 56:23. I stepped on the scale yesterday and was up again... Man, I'd better see some progress this month!

10K completed: 1:03:59   Good thing I NEVER said I had any speed.

I can say that I will come in first in my age group.

Sorry I missed the first weigh in. I've been helping my Dad and staying at the ICU with my Mom for most of the last week. She had a bladder infection that shut down her kidneys and became sepsis. She is doing much better now, and they should be moving her out of ICU as soon as they have a room available.

It was an emotionally exhausting week, and I've been doing a lot of stress eating. I haven't even stepped on the scale, so how about we take my last weigh in for my starting weight: 133.8

Wednesday I'll find out how much damage I've really done. Embarassed

On a brighter note, I registered for Ironman Couer d' alene 2010!!!!

Ok, I did 5k today in honor of the 4th, but it was a hike not a run. I haven't been mentally there for running in a while, I don't know why.  The hike was great though.

I completed the 10K in 1:24:09.  I know it is really slow, but I am hoping to at least place in my age group - W50-54.  I was doing really pretty well and was feeling pleased with myself, but my IT band which was a little sore, but not interfering with anything, got progressively more painful and I ended up walking the last mile or so.  Nevertheless, I was fine with my run.  If it hadn't been for this virtual race, I would have ended up just counting my two miles of walking to the pancake breakfast and the parade for my peach.  I'm supposed to be training for a HIM and need to get in some distance miles.  So, because of the race, I got in the run I was supposed to do today

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.  I know I did.

okay, did my 5K, had to cheat a bit and do it on the treadmill. 93 degrees, heat index of 112 degrees = me running on treadmill. So, not exactly fair, but I am still very happy with my 27:40 time. 3 months ago, I could not do a 5K in 33 on the treadmill, so nice to see the improvement.

TrisprintOlymic was the OVERALL winner for the 10K

Leah DD - Was the winner Women 50-54

Saling4 - Was the winner men 50-54

Caddreamer _  Was the winner for the 5K

Southpalms Showed up for a 27:40 5K so I think that is overall winner,  but cad takes age group (I think).

Ok, I ended up running taking my 10k time when I was doing my seven mile run today.  Did it on the treadmill so I couldn't cheat.  10k time in 1:03:36.  I have my first real 10k later this month with a goal of below 60 minutes which I should be able to do.  Congrats to everyone else who took part the times look good.  Might be the only chance I ever get to place in the 30-35 age group

I didn't post my run results earlier.... sorry! I ran a local 8K race on Friday night, F 40-49 AG, time: 47:30.

Definitely fell off the food tracking wagon this weekend! Weight this morning - 159 (wrong direction!!) Back on the wagon and working to loose that weight today, though!

Dang,   I just realized that there are a few people in this group that are catching up with me age wise.  Use to be me and a bunch of kids like Shermmie.

Woo hoo!! Congrats to all our winners. I'm in the 25-29 AG, so I think everyone who ran placed 1st in their AG.

I stepped on the scale this morning to find that I am down to 132! Finally back in the right direction. Now if only I can keep it up...

I got all my workouts in this weekend but didn't get on the computer to log them.  My time was 1:03:18. AG men 40-45.  Haven't weighed in since Wed because I drive my self crazy with the little ups and downs if I weigh too often.  I think I did pretty good though even with the holiday weekend.

I didn't do a 5k on the 4th, but I did hike a 'moderately rugged' trail in sandals (oops) to see waterfalls and get engaged!!! (I think I win...Wink)
