  1. Sometimes I hate HOA's.
  2. I think my sensative issue is when someone questions my inteligence for some reason.  Interesting story from the movie theater.
  3. This is the End was a pretty good movie, if you like that kind of movie.  I can see it being a love or  hate thing.
  4. Happy monday.
  5. I agree with your last comment on the Obesity thread Lisa.  If you can't reasonably estimate after doing it for 6 months (or even less?) or use your smart phone?  It's another excuss.  You can't eat a whole pizza and say you didn't realize how many calories are in it becuase they weren't posted.
  6. I'm going to try AGAIN to start some kind of tri plan today.  Well see if it sticks over 2 weeks this time.

That's about it for the moment.

ETA - I used the bullet feature for my above mentioned items (numbered them) but it didn't take.  Another small BT bug I guess.

Although, I DO use the calorie guide when ordering. Our state doesn't have it, but when I go to CA, NJ or PA; I choose something other than what I might have based on the posted calorie count.

Probably the wrong thread for it.  I agree it's helpfull.  When I have the info in front of me, I always use it to help me make my decision.  USUALLY allows me to get someting a bit more "fun" since I realize it's not as bad as I thought.

If it's NOT in front of me?  I will chose the safer option.  Get a salad or grill salmon.  If I'm low for the day?  I can have a bourbon!

So, for me, the provided calorie count usually lets me indulge or get something other than a salad, since I take the conservative route in the first place.  For me, that's a better approach than endulging and be dissapointed later if the calories where higher than expected.

Good afternoon, TANners.

Incredible weekend that I wish wouldn't have ended.  Lots of sun, pool-time shenaniganery, and good times with great people.  I took 4th place in The Kilted Mile (ran a 6:03) at the Ohio Scottish Games and I made friends with a horse.

'This is the End' is crazy funny, though it has plenty of parts where some jokes get carried out just WAY too far (but, that kinda makes them funnier after-the-fact, too).

I really want to see This is the End. Was going to take a pass until I found out that Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill and all those guys are playing themselves, which made the whole concept a lot funnier. Hope to see it next weekend . . . nice run btw. Has anyone come out with an IM-branded kilt yet?

Mother of pearl...

I went to my car to go to the gym over lunch and swim for the first time in probably over half a year only to realize that I was in such consternation about my HOA this morning that I forgot to put the bag in my car.  Dang it.

From the trailer of This is the End - I TOTALLY want to see this, but will probably wait til it's a rental.

We did, however, see World War Z last night - which is nothing at ALL like the book, but dayum was it ever action-packed and made you jump a couple of times.  Not a horror, and no real gore to speak of, but definitely tense. Especially tense for me when I shoooshed a couple that were treating the movie theater like their living room until other people gave them grief too.

Now that you've mentioned it - I'm sure an IM branded kilt will be imminent when they come up with a race in Scotland.

Wow, can't get my head in the game today...

I went home to get my gym bag over lunch and was THIS close to just not going back.  Big deadline hit on Friday so nothing pressing today leaves me a little deflated.

Oh, and I realize I mentioned it earlier, but This is the End was pretty good.  I laughed out loud a lot quite a bit.

That would be a fun movie to make as an actor.

ETA:  Michael Cera stole the first 1/4 of the movie...  He was awesome.

That is quite different from most of the Canadians that I met while working in the automotive industry.  They were more like, shut the hell up you flipping moron!!!  No please, no thank you.  But, they were trying to take over the company and then later shut us down, once they had our technology and processes figured out.

Root canal yesterday. It was not fun. The worse news is that the dentist was only able to do a temp job on it as the tooth was pretty infected. If it lasts this week I return next week for him to make it permanent- ie another root canal on the same tooth. If not he yanks it.
