Terribly annoying, but not able to exercise until doc clears me. I get an EKG tomorrow and probably a stress test.

Sorry I am late guys!

 

I really need to get a proper scale, as the ones I am using appear to be very inacurate... it will not settle on the one weight.

 

At the moment I am about 79kg, down a little bit from last week.

1st week of challege for me. Exersized everyday and was mostly calorie wise all week, had a few exception but that is OK.

    Okay, hearing no objections, I will assume you are okay with me joining a week late:

    7/21 @ 10:35pm weigh-in: 229lbs (a little less than previously thought)

    Goal Weight: 200

    7/28 @ 11:00pm weigh-in: 221 lbs

    Dropped 8 lbs. Now the going gets tougher.

    Weighed myself on Monday but just getting around to posting. And still 151. Had a sprint tri over the weekend and a family reunion so at least all of my snacking didn't send me backwards. I just can't get off this plateau.

    Also started a new training schedule Monday for an Olympic tri in Nov and my running will be going up for a marathon in Oct. So I better drop those lbs.

    EKG okay, but am being sent for stress test, etc.  Probably won't be cleared for another two weeks. Right now I'm limited to walking.  Aagh!   I have lost another 1.5 lbs since monday so I must be doing something right.

    Only that it'll take magic to get me through one   I'll get there, but I'm a way's off still.  Looking forward to it.

    Awesome on the 1.5 pounds... Keep up the walking, and hopefully they'll clear you for the rest of your training!

    This past week has been hard. Had two business dinners that I did not eat well, plus I normally exersize in evenings and did not those evenings. I need to get my but out of bed in the mornings. It is just to easy to make excuses in envening when I am tired. Also took kids on mini vaction fri-sun as a last fling before school and ate like a pig and did not exersize. We wnet to Shreveport, LA and they did the Ironfish Kids Tri and I River Cities Tri. The boy took 1st and 4th in their age group ( 11yrs and 14 yrs). I just finished.

    Back to grind stone this week. I am begining to think that exersize is the whole key for me.

    Had the stress test today, results next week.  Changed my diet somewhat, increasing fiber and lowering fat.  Have a new favorite lunch, pita with hummus, cucumbers, red & green pepper, tomato & a little onion. Yum!  Breathmint anyone!

    Total weight loss 6.4 over three weeks. To hit my goal of 180, I need to lose another 9.8 in the next seven weeks. I think I'm on target, as long as I don't slip up too badly. Short-term goal for this week is to not include my working hours (I do a ton of walking in my new job) as part of my exercise time. It was a good initial motivator but now it feels like cheating.

    Way to go everybody! Keep up the good work!!
