Babies/Baby Showers/Children in general... no, I don't want to hold your child, nor do I think it's cute, nor do I want to hear all about your labour in bringing said child into the world.

does anyone actually LIKE baby showers?  any type of shower is the worst party ever.

Sadly, yes... there was a whole group of women I knew in Vancouver that loved them - and they were ALL breeders, so it took up a large portion of any conversation.  Needless to say, I didn't hang around with them very much.

No kidding.

I work in a department that is mostly women, but at least 50% anti-baby. No 'coo-ing' going on here (thankfully). But boy, you should see us all crawl all over the floor when someone brings in their new puppy!

Do lots of people like this thread? I don't, it hurts my heart. So many wonderful things that you people don't like.

I'm glad to see there are others that hate mayo, my faith in humanity has been somewhat restored!

I would add to my list;

College sports
Pro sports - there okay, but I don't get crazy about them.
Children - there obviously necessary, but I don't know I just feel awkward around them.
Fantasy sports - People look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I have zero interest in their fantasy league.

Finally, someone mentioned one that resonates with me.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL...

So many people love it and go nuts over it.  Me?  Can't stand it.  It's slow, weird rules, and lack of overall talent.

Probably because I didn't go to a big school???

You can't make a proper BLT without mayonaise.

That's all I have to say about that.

Staying up late + sleeping in.

Time is just wasted after 10:30pm, and early morning hours are much more fulfilling. I wish I could still be a morning person, but I lost that war (see the marriage advice thread).

Sitting here drinking coffee while I watch my adorable kids play with their horses and dreaming of chocolate, I started to think I really don't belong in this thread.

But peanut butter and jelly, mayo and Duck Dynasty I can totally get on board with.

Here is one more - pedicures. I've had one and I just don't get it and I'm not interested.

And I've never had sushi and I don't want to try.

You do realize that shoes only matter to other girls?

I couldn't tell you if it was Tom's (which I never heard of) of Jimmy Choo (I heard that name around).  I can recognize ONE type - the ones with red soles - still don't know what kind they are, but I think they are special in some way.

The only way I can identify shoes is the logo on the side.  I suppose most guys are the same.  They know the "like" them, but probably couldn't identify them or even ball park price.

You beat me to it!

I almost bought a pair in the UK, but they would have made me about 2 feet taller than Tony.

I was at a shower where that game was played, and I tried like heck to NOT be included - I felt so bad for the mom-to-be, you could just tell from the look on her face that she was NOT enjoying herself.  UGH.
