I just *love* when I have to rush emergency changes into place for a process that has existed in its current state for nearly a decade all because somebody else decides to change something else without telling anyone or considering the ramifications of their changes. Oh, yeah, and the thing I have to make changes to is literally a "mission critical" app, but this guy is higher in the food chain, and thus it is my stuff that has to get reworked.
