btw Steve Larsen is only 9min. back now.

He is, I met him in March. Knew the name sounded familiar! He needs to pick up the bike pace a bit...

Based on the initial bike splits, looks like 21.5-22mph is a front of pack average for the first part of the course.

I am know officially really pissed at myself for not being there today. I had to switch out to AZ in Nov. because of conflicts but looks like a perfect day to race.

I just talked to Whizzzz and she said that Dan's wetsuit was back at the BT house.   He wasn't there, but she assumed he didn't make the cutoff.  Darn.

She confirmed, too, that the weather is PERFECT!

Go BTers!!!

Ficker is my choice on the women's side.  Her looks have something to do with my choice though...   But she has the talent and ability to back it up!!

Schloegel. He'll post a great run time...but it looks like he had an 'ok' swim and I'm not sure how much catching up he'll do on the bike. Hopefully he'll round out the top 10 today.

ETA...I've trained with him in that past, and he's a great guy...hence, the basis of my decision.

I'd like to see a repeat from Victor. Tbatt is also out there today, bib # 2037. She's out of the water in 1:55 and on the bike.

GO BTers!!!!!!

That boy can run like the wind. It was awesome to watch him last year on the versus coverage. Smooth as silk!
