SAMBoddy69 - 2009-07-08 8:32 AM I had a good week  Dropped the race weight and then some!

Start April 4th:  239

Start July 1st:  203.3
Today: 197.8

I'm no longer a clydesdale!  Ok Ok, so I never WAS cause I'm a GIRL, but you get the idea

I have a 10k on Saturday and I'm hoping it doesn't spike my weight up the way the double dipsea did.

Congrats on leaving the 200's behind!!! Good luck on your race this weekend!

Lower - not a lot, but hey I'll take it.

On another note, first tri of the year this weekend!

Good luck on the race.  Still trying (tri-ing???) to get in my first tri of the year.

Just for those that are calendar challenged tomorrow is WEDNESDAY!!

I always know when it is Wednesday - even with my head buried in the sand.

I was up 0.4 to 144.8, but I am not regarding that as anything other than a fluctuation.  Of course, I sort of wish it had fluctuated in the other direction, but then I would have claimed it as a weight loss.

Good news is that if you let it keep going up you can join 60% of the USA.  Bad news is,,,,,,DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!  Step away from the food!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly the same as last week 167 Surprised and I have been training hard.  Some days twice a day.  Just don't get it because prior to three weeks ago I was steadily losing 1-2 lbs. a week with a whole lt less effort and to top it off I have been starving!!! Anyone else experience plateaus like this and have suggestions to push through it?

Margi,  You may not be eating enough.  I can't tell from your logs so I can't say for sure.  This week keep your workouts approx the same and increase  calories by about 200 a day and see what happens.  When was your last cheat day? rest day?

Hi all

hope everyone had a good holiday (congrats to Maggyruth), we're all sick down here.  Everyone seems to have colds, including all my family.  Hubby been working at home and hogging the internet.  Munchkins been stir-crazy while off school and managed to split his head open on a door while running around the house.  Needed a staple but healed so fast, oh to heal like a five year old. Annnnnnnyway we're all on the mend and need to get back into it.  Haven't weighed in, will do next week.

Hi All,

Just a quick update from Ireland. Last weight checked on Sun showing 73,3kg. From other news I've been in hospital since Sunday (and my mum only arrived on Fri). I woke up and couldn't breathe so ended up in A&E To cut story short- after a number of blood samples being taken (my arms are purple) and CT scan they discovered multiple clots in my lungs. My consultaant told me it was a good call to keep me here cos it could have been compleltly different story. And why they were thinking about letting me go home? And here I quote "Because youre so fit and all the standard tests they do for A&E patients were perfect". The only reason they took blood from my artery (sooooooooooooo painful) to check for clots was because I gave them a very detailed account of the incidents with my sore legs. Anyways, feeling all better now and hope to go home tomorrow but that's if I'll be able to gove myself injections in the tummy - I'm really anxious to go home, especially that I haven't slept properly since Sun, but I'm a linguist and needles are not my thing. Also my consultant mentioned no training for a month. Shocked with the news I agreed first but now I'm getting ready for negotiations.

Ok will check in when I get home with more details Apologies for all the spelling mistakes- using mobile internet.

Have a good day!

I'd like to be a part of this if possible.   I need some accountability, and this seems like a good spot.   Current weight is 301 and my goal for the month is 295.

Thank you

Wow!  Cead!!  I am glad you are getting better.  Clots in lungs sounds kind of serious you might just want to take a day or two off.  Just cut back on calories.....  Do they have any clues as to why you have blood clots in your lungs?

Jeez, that must have been so scary, am glad you are okay - I remember months ago you going to A&E about your calves and them giving you a hard time.  Don't even think about training, just concentrate on getting better and then talk over your options, I know several folks who have really active lives on blood thinners and apart from getting some spectacular bruises (which make great drinking stories), they seem to cope fine.  Sending you buckets of healing thoughts (Kelly green ones)

Ahh!  That sounds serious.  I hope you're doing better.  Definitely take it easy and give yourself time to rest & respond to whatever treatment they're giving you!  I'm sending my healing vibes your way Smile
