Am I the only one not liking the new IM website?  I think the old website was more user friendly.

One of my training buddies (qualied for '08 Kona) John Sosniecki (bib 989) finished the swim in 1:15 (he's as bad as me in the water) and had a first bike split of 1:32:59.  He did a 5:15 bike split at IM WI so I expect he's moving up thru the field.

Eh, the old site wasn't that great to begin with.  At least the athlete tracker is working pretty smoothly.

Agreed. The new site is better organized.

JeepFleeb - 2008-06-22 1:31 PM The only one we're waiting on now is Jennifer.

Jennifer's past the first bike checkpoint. Woohoo! (I don't even know these people and I'm excited, I hope that doesn't make me too weird).

so i've never watched the swim portion of an ironman before and now i'm watching the 2008 cda coverage on the site.  is it typical that you do one lap then exit the water do a little run and restart? or is that just a cda thing?

Depends on the course, some are one loop, some are two

Evans and Lavato are within an arm's reach of each other gong into the marathon.  This is gonna be a fun one.

And I just noticed.... we're not going to get any run splits until the finish!?!?!

Why?
