There's a shop in Chinatown in NYC where you can have your own custom fortunes/cookies made.  We did some a few years agoa for a work party and they were hilarious!

I just had some Sushi. Technically that's Japanese, but it was still yummy. Now it's time to go play softball!

my legs are feeling SOOOO much better now that i got in the water.

theres i just something about it that promotes recovery.  ahhhhhhhh.

enjoy my VERY, VERY PALEO lunch.  and who know the VILLAGE was ordering CHINESE. 

stir fry veggies and chix and the MYSTERY INGREDIENT, can you guess what it is?

HINT:  this lunch is very, very PALEO.

im so excited about this new food discovery.  im burstin at the seams.  i didnt think i could live w/out what the mystery ingredient is replacing, but now i have a VERY PALEO substitute.  yayayayayayayayay.

AND i have a VERY PALEO substitute for sweet potatoes, wanna know what it is??

i fooled my family last night.

BUTTERNUT SQUASH.  [im sure Robin will be all over this...]

it was sooo good and 'passed' for sweet potatoes, even my kids thought it was sweet potatoes.

i betcha you could cut it up into planks and make it butternut squash fries?!?  perhaps.

hmmmmm.

i did put the tinsy tiniest bit of brown sugar in them and some smart spread, but that was only to 'enhance' the flavor (which it really didnt need afterall) and to smooth out the consistency a bit.

next time ill use honey (very paleo) instead of the brown sugar....

Nice swim!  I thought sweet potatoes are considered okay on the Paleo diet.  I might have to go back and read.  I hope so because I've been downing those little tubers by the fistful
