I finally got in and signed up for White Lake.  I'm thinking next year I'm not signing up for any more setup events. I am not a happy camper.  Why don't they space the registrations out if they know a lot of people are going to be registering at once?  Why was the registration open earlier than they told everyone?  How did these people get to register early for White Lake? grrrrrr!!!!

I'm on the site but it is taking like 15 minutes to move to each page. Hopefully, not much longer.

Ironically, compared to last year this IS spaced out.  I thought this would have worked, but evidentally they still don't have enough horsepower.  To their credit, they did try.  I wonder what happened?  Surely they had to know the expected traffic.

whats faster, completing a half iron man, or registering for it?

so i have logged in, click to the white lake page, and now waiting for it to load. i cant see the register link anywhere on the page yet. anyone remember approximately you click after you are logged in and are on the event page to register?

edit: the register button finally loaded right above the graphic on the right.

have now clicked. hopefully i can get the last few pages through before i pull the plug for the evening.

I was stuck in a cycle of clicking the "register" too early..before the entire White Lake Half page loaded...I finally waited for it to finish completely before clicking...and I got in....good night all...see you in May!!!

Same old same old!!! This happened last year too. I can understand it happening one time but this year it is unacceptable.
I think Setup needs some healthy competition among the North Carolina,Virginia and South Carolina area.

YES.
I hope they do excellent.
A lot of people here are raving about Setup but I think most of them have nothing to compare.
I have been to plenty of races all over the country and would rate Setup races ok but nothing exceptional and their registration process unacceptable.
