Subject: RE: vegan/vegetarians? I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for 13 years. Lots of practice to be an endurance triathlete and vegetarian but I make sure I emphasize protein at every meal and snack. More so, complete sources of protein or complimentary proteins. I love bread and carbs so I try to balance everything out and eat a little of everything..however, always prioritizing protein (especially whey protein and egg whites ). I try to stick with real foods but I take fish oil daily for omegas. As far as my other supps, I try to take them regularly. Staple protein foods in my diet: Egg whites Light soy milk and skim milk Nuts and organic/natural PB Cottage cheese Low sugar yogurt Veggie meats Whey protein powder Supplements: vitamin B complex Fish oil Multi Tissue rejuvinator (Hammer ) |
