I am hoping to go a lot faster than last year. I am in start coral C though so I will have to weed my way through the masses. Last year was my first year. I had only been running for a total of about 2-2 1/2 months. Finished in just over 47:00. This year, I want to get down to 42:00 if not 40:00. At least, that is my goal. |

We usually can't race this one because of all the mass amounts of people and I really hate weaving. So it'll probably be a slow, easy fun run for us. I can just see it now...our coach will have us running 16 that day and we'll have to hop on the lakefront path and keep on runnin'. |

They gave me a decent start corral due to some fluke finish time from a couple years ago that I didn't remember running at first. Not sure I can pull off that same time, but I'll happily accept the corral placement to avoid running through the masses. I know this race is way crowded, but it's always been a fun race. And the energy is great. We should definitely plan a BT meetup beforehand. |
