Hi all,

Forgot to check in after my weigh in on Friday.  Down 2.8 which erases some of the 3.4 gain from the prior week (now 187).

My WW at work group had enough people to start a new 12-week session starting this coming Friday, which will take us up to the beginning of April.  Last time, we had issues and it took us several weeks to get started.  But not in January!  Hoping new faces will help inspire me to keep going.

Great job on your loss, maggyruth!  That's awesome!

Laurie

Oh gosh, I can't remember when I last posted. I think things have settled back into a routine for me.

My WI was yesterday at 251.4

I quit journaling my food for about 3 weeks. Don't know why, but I'm determined to get back on track this week

congrats to everyone on the losses!

Well my legs still hurt for the half marathon on sunday but I was very happy with my run/walk experience. I kept a steady pace throughout the whole race which I could have never down without the wralking lol. Time was 3:04 unoffically and I am very happy with that so yeah me LOL.

Now I just hope I can keep up the weight loss this week! Good luck everyone on your WW endevors this week. Jana

Do you mind if I join in?  I haven't been to this board for a while and would like some motivation to continue to lose weight, WW style.

I am a prodigal lifetime member who is 26 lbs over goal.  I am hoping to have that off by mid-May for the women-only tri I am planning on doing.

I weighed yesterday and am down 2.3 lbs from last week.

Great race, jana!  Congratulations!

I haven't posted in a week or so... been busy... having stomach problems...

When my stomach episodes are not happening I seem to be able to put together  4-5 workouts in a row but when I've got the pain, I'm unable to do anything for 2-3 days...

It's an ongoing process but I'm trying by process of elimination to find out what triggers my attacks...

Weight is about the same - so I've got to get workin' on that...

Have a nice week everybody!

Congrats to everyone on the great losses this week! You're inspiring me!

I think things are settling back into a routine for me now. I decided that this week would be week 1 of another 12-week challenge (which is what kicked my butt into gear last year this time... my first-ever fitness effort!) I've been eating clean, going to the gym every day -- hoorah! I feel better already.

I weighed in Monday at 134.75, up over 5 pounds from my pre-thanksgiving low. YIKES! I'm not sure I'll start going back to WW meetings right away, but I'm back on track regardless. My WI day is Saturday... so you can put down 134.75 for last week's WI. Hopefully, I'll have good news to report this weekend!

Good morning everyone! Greg I sure hope you are feeling better!

I have a question to ask the group. In regards to the log I just cannot keep up with it anymore. Is someone else willing to take over or should we just say every man for themselves in tracking the weight loss?? Sorry if this disappoints anyone but it is just one of those things when you look at your priorities and decide which has to get the boot to keep yourself sane LOL.

Thanks ! Jana

Beth, thanks...and I see you're still working on your post count

Jana, I can only imagine how much work it is. Why don't we switch it over to Google like they're doing in the Challeng Me forums. We can each update our own info then.

Jana, I totally understand!  I think Terri's idea of creating a google spreadsheet is a good one.  It's actually a lot easier to do than I thought it would be - have you set one up before?

No I have not ever done that before? If you give me some guidence I can get it up there this weekend probably. But I think everyone keeping up with it themselves is a great idea cause will all the people who are here then dont post for months then show up it is just so hard to keep up with who is who. so yes GOOGLE is the way to go if someone can show me where to start. Thanks,J

Oh and OF COURSE since I had a great week last week and ran a half freakin marathon I GAINED WEIGHT at WI today. Figures, if I sound disgusted it is cause I AM.

OK I feel better now just had to get that out I suppose.

Jana,

Of course you should take this off your plate! We can all update the spreadsheet -- thank you so much for taking care of it this far!

I weighed myself at the gym this morning, just as the snow was starting to fall (in ATL that's no small thing!!), and I am totally thrilled to report that I lost 2.75 pounds!!! I weighed in at 132.

Now granted, I weighed myself on a different scale, and all of that... but I'll take it! Clearly, the workout + diet program from the new trainer I got in december is really working. It's kicking my butt, though, so I'm not totally surprised that the results are good. Halfway back to my pre-Thanksgiving goal weight!

Also this morning... I renewed my gym membership -- which I was considering dropping for $ reasons -- and in doing so, made a commitment to myself to really work on flexibility and balance this year, specifically by going to yoga 1-2 times/week. I also registered to have my body fat measured in a water tank later this month. Woo hoo!

Thanks again, Jana. And thank you to this group for being so supportive! You guys are wonderful!
