At LTF there is a cycle club and a running club.  You do have to be a member of LTF to participate.  They do not cost anything if you belong to LTF.  I belong to both.

I know a group that gets together generally every Sunday in Barrington Hills for a 3X 22mi loop.  I have also hooked up with some guys who start out from Cary at 4:30AM T,Th and Su for a two or three hr ride.

For running there is also the Hillstriders, who generally run in Cary or Crystal Lake.

Are you looking for running groups or cycling groups.  Where are you swimming?

I don't know much about what Healthbridge offers.  I pretty sure they have a running club.  They also have an outdoor pool.

With all these groups and BT, I have not needed to belong to a triathlon club to be motivated.

I would be happy to help you or anyone else get hooked up.

Thanks...I am looking to join LTF in the fall.  I am in a rut and could use some training partners.

I am looking for Biking and Running.  Swimming, I am waiting for the Huntley Pool and The beach to open up in LITH.  Not the best scenerios for all but...I have what I have.

Hey, how are feeling?

I joined the triathlon 101 at HBFC in Crystal Lake, but some of the practice times just don't work for me. I have been looking to join a tri club, but can't seem to find any in our area (I just moved to Woodstock) I wonder what we need to do to become a registered club........

I have no idea.  There was a club last year that attempted to start up.  They were training in the forest preserve just west of Schaumburg.  I was on their mailing list, but I have not heard anything from them in a while.  I am not sure if it was from lack of leadership or lack of interest.

Hi...I live in Riverside (right next door to Brookfield) and am signed up to do the Women's triathlon in Naperville on June 22nd. I would love some info on the Salt Creek Tri Club. I ride the Salt Creek Trail often, as it is so close to my house. What is the training schedule of the club? I'm a total newbie, would that matter? Thanks for any info!

Linda
