I can't believe no one started a daily thread yet!!!! I don't think I'll get to train today. Family is in town and I have to go golfing. Maybe I'll be able to do Elliptical tonight. My bike is sad. It wants to be riden. have a great day -S

Today is my scheduled day of rest. And I'll take it. From Thursday on, I've managed to throw in (3) 1.5 mile walks, 15 mins of weight training, and a 3.3 mile run. Not a stagering amount of work, but better than I anticipated. And over Thanksgiving weekend, I ate well ......and LOST 2 lbs!

I don't know what I'm doing today, but I NEED to do something!

It's snowing here, so whatever I do, it'll be indoors.

Ran just over 8 miles this morning in the brisk -17 degree morning air. Now I'm going to try to sneak back to bed.
Wish me luck!

Yup I slept in too, but managed to get out of bed and run 9 miles. Kind of a dreary day hear, low 40s and overcast. But I felt great and inspired my wife to go out and run too!! Maybe I can even get her to do a Tri someday?!!

Happy Sunday everyone.

Congrats BJsracing- that's great you lost 2 pounds!! I was planning a bike ride, but left my bike at my parent's house- 30 miles away. Don't feel like driving all the way up there to get it, so I guess I'll hit the gym for a lower body workout and maybe elliptical or bike afterwards. Have a great Sunday- too bad we have to go to work tomorrow.

Today was supposed to be a bike ride, but woke up feeling like I am getting the cold my entrie family was breathing all over on Thanksgiving Day. Hopefully, it is just an allergy flair up from all the dust and pollen I inhaled yesterday while trimming bushes. So, the short of it is, I am going to take the day off to make sure this doesn't get worse - Hopefully!!

After the Thankgiving eating fiest and the ugly weather that has set in I'm going to buy a bike trainer.

No more excuses that the gym is closed or it's too cold outside. I won't even have to miss Nuggets basketball games as I get some training in.

So for tonight I plan on getting 45 minutes in on the bike trainer.

Put the trainer to good use. 15 min warmup, 65min hill intervals, 10min cool down.

Today: yoga and circuit training.

One more day of the gym being closed, and who knows how much longer of the broken-pool being closed. I'm falling way behind in my swim-training

Did 1 hour 15 minutes on the trainer.  Mixed it up...spin ups, climbs and gradual hill sets.
