Subject: long run in IM training I'm looking at various training plans and have one thats been customized for me by a multi IM friend. He knows my limiter is the bike and my somewhat fast changing work schedule and worked those things in a 24 week plan.
My question is about the long run. He is confident that 2:30 for my longest run is enough. Having done many marathons, I'm having trouble believing my run will be solid (not fast, just steady ) on such a short long run (3:10 is my typical long run for marathons ).
How long are your long runs? Convince me this is okay.
For info, I've got a three six+ hour rides, and couple of 5s. |
