Run
Comments: First of all, it's not the Bank of America Gasparilla Classic, they dropped out right after last year's run and Publix took over. So it's the Publix Supermarkets Gasparilla Distance Classic. :) not a bad run. I ran this last year in 1:42 so that is SIX MINUTES off of last year's time!! Since coach worked on my form, my running feels good... I think I may need new shoes though. they feel different. Post race
Warm down: Walked out the chute, stuck medal in my skirt shorts. Fit perfectly, never knew it was there for the 5K. Walked over to the 5K start. A girl recognized me from the Y "hey, do you swim at the Campo Y?",, yes... "I see you there all the time you swim really good". Turns out she is going to St A's, the 70.3 and IMFL. So cool! She was doing the Challenge also! I found out later her name is Stacey. Then I ran a 5K to cool down. heh. Last updated: 2007-11-26 12:00 AM

drove to Downtown Tampa, found a parking garage one block off the expressway. Easy peasy, two blocks from convention center.
not much. checked bag in (couldn't find it, so walking around looking for it was my warmup). Forgot my water. Didn't see anyone I knew, so just hung out with me, myself, and I. Was sorta nice to be alone.
