Does everyone eat breakfast on a regular basis?

Normally I don’t eat right when I get up, I normally get to work and then have a granola bar mid morning then lunch just after noon. I know you are supposed to eat breakfast, but some mornings I can’t force anything down.

I eat breakfast every day. Most days, breakfast is oatmeal with raisins, pecans, brown sugar, and flaxseed oil; OJ; and coffee. It takes 5 minutes to make. I used Fitday one time to estimate that this was about 500 calories.

I do a little juice and milk about 45 minutes pre workout then eat a "meal" every day within 45 minutes of finishing up.

Smoothie before I leave the house and a toasted beagal with vegemite or Low fat cream cheese at work after my workouts 0830 ish. Weekends I splurge and do a bkfst burrito or sometinmes the big bkfst but that is very occasionally.

Def. breakfast. I can't function until I've eaten. Usually cheerios with a half banana and OJ, or some fried eggs with toast...

I eat BF every day - I read that not eating within an hour of waking is like losing the opportunity to raise one's metabolism.

there is a cereal called something like "optimal power breakfast" which has soy, flax and blueberries. yum.

I didn't until I got back into training last year. Now I have a small portion of Oatmeal with butter, a little sugar and milk plus a glass of OJ.

Yes, I pretty much always eat breakfast, but not the very first thing in the morning. The VERY first thing is coffee -and apparently checking BT, because I haven't had breakfast yet But eventually I get around to either scrambled eggs, with some veggies thrown in, high fiber cereal and skim milk, or a fruit smoothie. Sometimes oatmeal, but not often. I don't really want to THINK in the morning, at least not until the coffee has kicked in

I had a hard time forcing things down for a while. When it's real, real early then I drink an instant breakfast. I don't even have to chew, just swallow and in a 6 or 7 large gulps, breakfast is down and I'm on my way.

But EAT breakfast!!!

I'm a huge breakfast fanatic (sp?). It's a benefit to eat breakfast for everyone because if you're like me, it's a great time to "sneak" in extra calories needed to sustain life and if you're looking to loose weight, it's a great way to make sure the body knows food is constantly coming so it doesn't store everything you eat as fat.

My motto is "Feed the furnace"

I start my day with a 1.5 mile walk, each and everyday, then have a package of maple and brown sugar oatmeal. Does it get boring? Yes on both counts. But It's a quick jumpstart to my metabolism each day

Breakfast?  ABSOLUTELY!!  I've always had trouble with my weight.  When I started going to the dietician, she insisted I eat breakfast.  YUK - never done that.  But slowly I started, now.... I wake up hungry.  Just before I run though, I'll have OJ with the morning's pills, soy milk then off to the great outdoors.  When I return, Kitchen look out.  It's a great start to the day and puts you (me anyway) in a great mood for the rest of the day.

I eat breakfast everyday, although for years (from grade 8/9 to a couple years after university) I was only eating one meal a day. Now, if I don't have breakfast, lunch, supper and small snacks inbetween, I can barely think let alone do anything else...

I never have breakfast when I wake up.  A coffee, black with no sugar, is about all I can take in the early morning.  Lately, however, I have been having an A&W Bacon and Egger with my coffee at my nine o'clock break.  Ok, bacon is not that good for me but it gives the sandswich a bit of flavour.  :-

I eat breakfast every day.  But 'when' depends on if I'm working that day.  If I'm working I do my morning workout and then eat breakfast.  I seem to have better workouts in the mornig if I eat after working out.  If I'm off of work, I eat breakfast, wait a couple of hours then do my morning workout.

Breakfast is usually whole grain cereal, fruit, milk, OJ.  Some mornings I just grab a breakfast bar, milk, and OJ.

The only two things I like better than breakfast are lunch and dinner.

I can't imagine a day without breakfast.

hehe, I eat breakfast twice everyday! Coffee and some kind of bread product before work (usually spelt bagel) with peanut or almond butter. Then a smoothie at about 10:00 with yogurt and fruit, today I added oatmeal because I had been starved at lunch! I have been finding I was really hungry lately so just to see I did a typical days worth of food on fitday and realized I was about 900 calories lower then I expended if it was a workout day (and that was with two breakfasts).....does anyone else have a hard time eating all they need?

I used to eat breakfast every day and then went through a long period of not eating breakfast. When I started again I had trouble keeping things down. That didn't last long though, and now I can't live without breakfast. I usually mix some vanilla yogurt with granola/raisins/almonds cereal. Good stuff.
