Pre-race routine:

up - snacks - went to race about an hour early to soak up the ambiance - went to bathroom 3x!

worked on this - not very comfortable at all - started out with higher resistance - then backed it off and pedaled my a$$ off - well that's what it felt like anyway - This was best performance in the series so far

stated easy - watched all the gazelles run off - and just kept to my race - first 4 minutes or so were just trying to get my legs and work out some cramped calves... then I picked it up and finished pretty strong for me. Best distance and pace in the series yet - I can't complain

walk around try not to vomit - for whatever reason - i often feel like vomiting after a race - who knew?

Event comments:

as all the series - great vols and a good time - also broke 8 miles which was the overall goal
