Does anyone have info on Joe (freeswimmingfish)?  Ironman.com shows no finish time for him, but I thought I read that someone saw him finish, and there are a couple "congrats" inspires in his log, so I'm hoping he finished.  Of course, everyone who toed the line deserves congratulations!!  I don't have his cell phone number to call him, and I'd like to know how he is doing.

Also, did Jacob KQ?

Is someone gonna update the final spreadsheet with splits and finish times?  I'd really like to see everyone's times.

Congratulations to everyone!!!

I caught of few of you ... and missed a lot of you!

How can I be AT the race... at a spot on the bridge that everyone had to pass 6 times... and miss so many people? Who knows. But I did!

I did get to see Elaine (PirateGirl), MadCow (Tom), and JKron (Jim- my cousin) cross the finish line though! They all crossed after 11:15 PM.

Big hugs go out to everyone who didn't make it to the finish line. What happened to the 3 I talked to... it was out of your control. You didn't DNF because you didn't train. Know that. *Hugs*

OH, and I would just like to say that I am very disappointed in NA Sports. My cousin crossed the finish line at 11:45 PM... he had been vomiting for the past 10 hours... who knows how many times. They didn't weigh him. No one asked if he was OK when he crossed. AND the medics were GONE! What the h&ll is that about? People who cross late NEED MEDICS too! I'm going to write a nasty letter to them.

I can only hope that the organization (WTC?- right?) who puts on IMKY has stuff (medics, food, etc.) for people who cross in the last hour.

I'll post more about my experience later, but I just want to thank all of the volunteers and spectators! You guys made the day so entertaining and kept my mind off of the discomfort and the heat. KSH, I saw you late at night on the Mill Ave bridge, but I was too exhausted to say more than a quiet "thanks" when people were cheering.

HA! A thanks is more than the people earlier than the day mustered up. I really liked cheering for people after 9:00 PM... they were much more appreciative of the cheering.

Happy to hear you crossed the finish line. Congratulations!

I definitely want to thank all the spectators and volunteers that came out on race day. All of you helped make a really hard race a great day.

I didn't know where to put this since he didn't do a race report yet but I think I saw JeepFleeb (Aaron) at one of the aid stations on the bike. I believe it was the one closest to town, if going out toward beeline. I think I was on my 2nd lap, I assume he was on his 3rd. We had both stopped to use the potty or something. I was going to say "hi" but I didn't see any BT stuff and I thought he had a BT disk wheel. His helmet looked cool, some sort of painted brown flaming thing going on (custom painted for sure).

The main reason I thought it was him was because he had that beard that matches his avatar. I decided not to say anything because I didn't want to make a fool of myself and also some serious racers are really in the zone and I didn't want to bother the guy if it wasn't him.

Not him. He shaved his beard the night before the race. He had a smooth face on race day.
