So I am curious as to the need or even if I should put Aero's on my bike. I plan on doing this for a while but I doubt that I will surpass the Olympic distance. Are aeros worth it at this level and any suggestions other then Profile design?

Yes, get them.  Even cheap ones.  On windy days if I am riding upright and drop to my aero bars I notice a definate increase in speed.   If you goals is just to have fun they are far from necessary though.  Some will suggest bike shoes/pedals first BTW.  I really don't know.

No problem.  BTW, how much are you looking to spend?  I have a pair of Ritchey Pro Clip on bars, similar to these.  Actually I am waiting to get back from Ritchey on return.  That I was planning on selling on ebay for hopefully $50.  They are decent aerobars but one of the aeropads broke on me.  I think I was leaning on it too much so they are sending me brand spanking new ones.

Let me know if you are interested as I see  you are in Dallas so we probably would not have to deal with shipping.

I am interested. Let me know when you get them so we can figure out a spot to meet. Thanks!

Aerobars are worth it at any distance over about 100 yards.  But they will only work if you stay down and they don't cause you discomfort.

If you have any bit of handling skills, they will not make your bike an uncontrollable twitchy monster that some people will warn you about.  If you don't feel comfortable then ride more with them or ride the trainer to get a feel for the position.

The Profile T2+ bars are about as adjustable as you could ever want and are not that expensive.
