Subject: Good write-up comparing four $2500 tri bikes

For those of you shopping for tri bikes this season, I came across a handy article comparing the Cervelo P2C, the QR Seduza, Felt's B12, and the Kuota K-factor.  If you're lucky enough to fit nicely on more than one bike, have a look:

Without even reading it (yet) I'll predict that Tom chose the P2C over everything else ........

Let's go see ...........

Hehehehe .......

At least the B2/B12 (the B12 is the same as the B2 from last year basically) gets some props from him!!  Glad I picked Blackbird compared to others ...

Because it is bad azz frame that gives Cervelo a run for their money.  I have the B2 and as I (and he) mentioned it is the same frame design as the B12 and DA but with differing forks (and different carbon make-up).  Worth every penny (although I paid $2,400 for just the frame/fork).

Well I just picked up the QR Seduza - but the good news is that I got a 2007 for only $1.8k so even though it may not have the #1 choice, it is my favorite. Plus, I'm sure for my first tri bike I would not have been able to tell the difference in the bikes.

Don't forget their main point - the best bike for you is the one that fits you the best.  No reason to think you don't have the best bike!

Thanks for the link -- it's good to see how much you can get in that price range, cause I know I won't be able to afford more than that when the time comes to buy one!

I read this earlier this year and subsequently bought a B12.  It's a great bike - I call mine Black Ice.  About a month after getting it I got t-boned by a Cadillac and it totally destroyed the bike.  I replaced it with another B12.  My LBS loves me!  :-)

The 2008 B12 is a great bike. I love mine; however, I will be selling it soon to get a 2009 B2!

The bias for the P2C was clear as you said it would be....

That was a helpful article.....
