Run
Comments: Not bad. It took a good .5 mile to weave through the dense crowd, and even then it was still a little hectic. Even though I was shooting for 8 min/mile pace (which I beat), I'm still disappointed that I didn't end up going just a bit faster. I need more speed training if I expect to run this pace in a tri. What would you do differently?: More speedwork and more running. Post race
Warm down: Light jog with Amanda and her b/f followed with some green beer, lots of Guinness, flip cup, corned beef, pinata busting, and partying. Heck yeah St. Patty's Day! What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of speedwork. Last updated: 2008-02-17 12:00 AM

Walked around freezing to find Amanda, Melanie, and Katie. Found them, and collectively froze. Drank some water and went for a warmup jog, then stood in the massive crowd (which was much warmer) to wait for the start.
Just a light jog down Greenville to Lovers and back.
