What would you do differently?: I would make sure that I have a good projection time and if I can as in this event adjust it at the last minute. This event allows you to update your time as late as two weeks out. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition but I really have nothing to base it on. Bike
What would you do differently?: I would make sure that the bike computer is working prior to start of race. I looked down and it read that I was doing anywhere from 9 to 22.5 mph. I know based on the cadence and gear that I was averaging between 18 and 22.5 Really felt good Transition 2
What would you do differently?: I will make sure that I take my helmet off as I rack the bike instead of starting my exit and then realize that I am still wearing it. Run
What would you do differently?: Need to do more bricks. Need to do more bricks. I got to the first turn and really had not settled into the pace. I walked for about 45 seconds and then started back. Pace was better. Post race
Warm down: No warm down to speak of. What limited your ability to perform faster: The swim course. Not having done enough bricks. Last updated: 2007-12-27 12:00 AM

Me Steve and Alex drove in teh night before and qet at Dock Side at around 7. We finished up there and went to the hotel where we relaxed until about nine at which time I went to sleep. We got up at 6:30 and start the prep for getting things loaded into the car. I had two very small pasteries and a cup of coffee. We got in the car at around 7:00 and headed over to the race. Once there Steve and I got checked in and got our start times. He was to start at 9:4? and I was to start at 10:43:20 due to a 10 second difference in our projected 100 meter times. The race started at 9:00 so I had to which was some what interesting for the first 30 minutes but then quickly became boring.
At 10:20 I got in the pool to start the warm up. I did 300 meters at a really slow pace just to get the blood moving.
