Just wanted to pass along a link for pacing I got at runner's world GA ING thread:

http://www.box.net/shared/4zzikb3dy1

It is GA ING specific. It looks (to me) pretty complex so lucky that the plugged in pace is an even effort for 3:30 marathon. But I think you can tweak it for your own specific pace. It is also very detailed on hills/downhills.

I also wonder if the destruction from Friday's tornado is going to make them alter the course yet again.

Everyone enjoying the taper? Did 21-22+ miles yesterday (not believing the 22.6 map my run says it is. Ustaf says 21.4) and I guess that makes me as ready as I'm gonna get. Good luck all!

Wow.. that is EXCELLENT information. I will be studying this. Thank you very much.

Nice job on the 21-22 mile run this weekend. I'm going the three week taper route. My legs need the recovery. Now I just need to be disciplined enough to let them recover. That's more difficult than it seems.

Thanks Nat!

That spreadsheet is amazing. If you get a chance, thank the person who put it together for me. I needed something to dork out to during the taper!

It doesn't seem right that there are 8 significant uphill sections but only 2 significant downhill sections.

I think the best strategy would be to go out at your 5k pace so you can blow up. I always like to see if I can push through the wall early on in a marathon. JUST KIDDING. cool spreadsheet!!!

I like this idea! I also would get to say "I was leading the race for a few miles." to ignorant friends!
