First ever, or first sprint?

I am not the greatest biker...so I need to get it in gear (pun intended) before I go longer!

Good luck~!

My first Oly. I did mostly sprints last year. I hear the bike course is flat though.

Hey!  I am doing my first Oly there too.  I am Lynne's friend that she wrote about in an earlier posting.  I need to get our lodging squared away.  And register!    I think there will be a fair number of BTers that this, so hopefully we can have a meet-and-greet at some point!

Either a tent or a conversion van...I'm excited. But scared! I am super competitive, but I have to hold that back in a sport I've never done before. I don't want to be embarassed!

I am going to register today, for the Oly.  Enough saying I am going to do it, this time I will have no choice!  I agree about having a warm weather tri--none of my tris have even had sunshine and some have had rain and there's been a lot of cold days, as well.  That said, it will probably either be some freak rainy day there, or a freak heat wave!  Oh well, gotta roll with the punches. I am not going to do the Lake Samm tri the prior weekend, for financial as well as physical reasons. I might volunteer or at least go cheer people on, since it's close by.  Gotta figure out my lodging for ML now, too.

ScotinSeattle, my daughter is studying her Junior year of college in Glasgow. I've seen many pictures of the area and it is very beautiful. In my e-mails to my daughter about my training she has gotten the tri bug and is training for some events this summer when she gets home. She writes to me about the culture there and she loves it.

Good swim today--you should be fine for ML if you keep the pace up!  I assume us BTers will meet up the evening before for a meet n greet, hopefully!!  It's my first Oly, and Lynne's too (ScotinSeattle).  I am really looking forward to this race!!
