Subject: Numb toe?

It's the weirdest thing.  My "ring" toe on my left foot feels numb lately. I've been increasing milage a lot lately but I never heard of a numbing. No pain what-so-ever so it's not like it'll stop my training but it's still weird.

Any ideas?

Hey... that is the funniest thing... I have been thinking something was wrong with me... because I have had the same experience... The biggest toe (dont know the name, since I am Danish).. it goes nomb, after a certain amount of milage...
could it be, because of blood shortage??? Maybe the blood does not come through good enough???

Could it be metatarsalgia?

There hasn't been any pain. It even feels numb when I'm not running.

I totally have that same issue, only when I bike or use the ellyptical. Weird!

Are you guys scrunching your toes up when you run/cycle? I caught myself doing that on hard bike rides, resulting in numb toes. Make a conscious effort to relax you toes when you are working hard.

Not sure if I am. But, I do make a conscious effort after I notice the numbness to wiggle my toes around. That seems to help.
