Comments: The run was good. My running partner wasn't having a good day and neither was I, really. She apparently was having a crappier day than I and had to walk a little while. I left her at mile 5ish at about 49:??. I didn't want to haul ass for the second half but I did end up going faster than I did the first half. What would you do differently?: Not much. I didn't want to race so whatever happened happened and I was happy with it. I do wish that my friend felt better. My time may have been a little better, but like I said I was just running :-) Post race
Warm down: No warm down. Just waited for Linda to finish then had a hot dog and a banana. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing really. I didn't really want to go any faster. I would have liked to go faster in the first half. that's all. Event comments: This was a small race and only in it's second year. I enjoyed the course. I would certainly do this event again. Got up early and ate oatmeal and drank coffee. Nothing special here.
No warmup for this. I was treating it as a run not a race so the first few miles were going to be my warm up.
