Subject: RE: Can't stop eating - agh!!!!!! What I do is, if I eat one bad portion of food, like a piece of cake or bowl of icecream or a big mac, my "punishment" is 1/2 hour more cardio time.
So, for example, my regular cardio workout regimen is 1/2 hour a day (I know it's not that much, but I have to work full time and attend law school at night ). No matter what, I will still make the 1/2 hour a day. If I eat something bad, I will tack on a 1/2 hour. If I miss a day, I will then have to tack on the 1/2 hour of regular workout to the next day.
This way, if you eat bad, you will hopefully and technically work it off with that extra 1/2 hour workout you added.
If you can't get to the gym for whatever reason, the way I do it is, I won't ever take a shower at home. So, i'm forced to go to the gym to take a shower. Since I drove there, I might as well do my 1/2 hour workout. |
