So did anyone else enter the lottery for this race? I really want to do it.....We are supposed to find out on April 1st. My sister, cousin and a few friends signed up as "group" so either we all get in or none of us get it. Ugg....I hate waiting

How come I can't run in this?  They made a big deal out of Kathrine Switzer as the first woman to break the gender discrimination and run in the Boston Marathon.  You can't have your cake and eat it too.

You can!  When I ran the half in 2006 they let something like 5% men run and probably 2% men dressed as women.

I just don't get the same thrill out of firemen in tuxes and Tiffany necklaces as the women runners that I know.

You can usually get in through Team In Training -  I did it with them 2 years ago.  I'd love to do it again but I'm so busy this year I don't think I'll have the time to train or raise money - maybe next year.  It was a beautiful race!
