I tried the shoes pre clipped and after two turns I tried to put my feet in my shoes . . . NUGU!!!!!! Didn't happen. I had to stop, put on shoes and get going again!!!! GRRRRRRRR!
What would you do differently?:

I am going o stick with running in shoes until I perfect the preclip again.

I am really happy with my result. I probably would do much different once I got past the shoes incident.

Two things. One, my shoes got caught and I almost dropped the bike (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) and then I stopped running about half way in.

Very impressive ride!  Especially considering you stopped to put your shoes on?!  I'm going to start trying to learn the shoes-clipped-in-run-barefoot technique, also.  Way to start the season on a great note!
