Comments: great crowd!!! my younger son, Noah, kept telling me I was almost done and to go faster that it was all downhill (of course I was mashing uphill at the time) which was pretty funny. We had a great BT showing which definitely helped as I struggled through the course. Post race
Warm down: then went and did the 1000m run - warmed up with about 1 mile or so first on the track. won a fuel belt on the run and I think I was the only woman who did all three events which means I will get a gift certificate to LBS.... What limited your ability to perform faster: that I am a beginner! Event comments: It was great seeing everyone at the expo and wearing the BT flag so-to-speak Last updated: 2008-03-30 12:00 AM

did the dry tri - so my warm up was the swim on the vasa - I can see how that would be good for strength training for swimming, but given that swimming is all technique does not seem so useful - no rotation.....
anyway, did the 100m 'swim' in 2:07 - so that was my warm up.....leading up to that was getting the boys in the car and heading to the expo - I thought they were going to bring the cowbell that Spokes/Constant Motion sent but I guess they thought it would be too loud (as opposed to their screaming)
rode on computrainer for 20 minutes before the start. Scott to my right and Max beyond him. I was disappointed that Max did not wear a skirt, nor a skort.....now that would be funny. Max in a BT skort.....hmmmm ideas for next year.
