Pre-race routine:

Got to the expo site at 9:30, they let us in at 10:30, then I went back out to the parking garage to get the bike. I had some time before my heat (11:30) so I hung out at my team's expo booth. A few minutes before, I stripped down to my tri kit (which I had on under my street clothes) and headed over to where the race was being held.

Event warmup:

Before our heat started, the folks running the race set our bikes up on the Computrainers, then we did a 10-15 minute warm-up. Unfortunately, they had the race display showing on the big screen, so some of the folks watching thought it was the actual race and left before real race started.

Comments:

I had never ridded on a Computrainer before, so it was a neat experience. The course was pretty challenging, but overall I was pleased with my performance.

Post race

Warm down:

Did a quick spin-down on the Computrainer, then went back to my team's expo booth to sit down and cool off.
