Comments: I started off strong and fast but that fell off at about 1 mile. The last mile was TERRIBLE (~7:45) and lasted forever. My time was almost a full minute slower than my PR from a few weeks ago. What would you do differently?: I don't know if I can get up any earlier to give myself time to do all that I need to do before a race. Also, I need to start doing a 2-3 mile easy recovery run following football games to work some of the soreness and stiffness out. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and visited for a while and then walked to chow. Last updated: 2008-04-01 12:00 AM

Woke up early enough to take some MET Endurance. Didn't get "moving" until about 5:45, which pushed me leave time about 5 minutes later than I wanted.
I had planned to do a two-mile warm-up on the way to the start but my late start limited me to just one mile. The ceremony lasted a LONG time, about 20 minutes, so I was back to being "cold" by race time.
