Has anyone ever go to the drop in Masters group. I'd like to hear what you thought about it.

I swim there on occaison. My schedule is pretty hit and miss because of my wifes hours of work and I swing shifts. I enjoy it when I go and have picked up some good tips.

I have never tried the St. Clair Masters group, but I have attended the Masters classes in Leamington off and on for several years. It's a good group that seems to welcome all swimming abilities.

I imagine that that one is at the Sherk Center.  I have used that pool twice and I really like it. Unfortunately Leamington is WAAAAYY out of my way.

Are you in Amherstburg? I was a member at Sherk while I lived in Amherstburg and I did not find the drive much worse than the drive into Windsor, and the salt water pool is worth a slightly longer drive.

40 minutes to the Sherk

20 minutes to St. Clair

3 minutes to Total fitness.

I already go to Windsor for a variety of other reasons, so the Sherk ends up 3rd on the list.  I do like the salt water pool though.  Total Fitness has one, but it is only 15 meters long.

Essex has a good Masters Drop in. Its help Tue and Thurs from 8pm - 9pm $6 per visit.

Most of those nights I am at Aikido.  It might be an option, especially to touch base with other BT'ers.

Do you go to that one tabbs?

I did the Master/Triathlon Club in Essex for about 1 year (really helped with form and efficiency), then I moved my workouts to the Leamington Sherk Complex during my lunch break (which allowed me to work on time and use some of the drills that I learned). But, I do pop in every once in a while.

I do some of my swimming at lunch at the Sherk, so we probably have bumped into each other. I used to go to Master's at the Sherk but evening swims have not been convenient for me lately, and I'm trying to mostly go to the morning swims.
