So, I'm wondering, if the weather is extremely hot, like 100 and humidity, would you males run/cycle shirtless? As another question to add, can you do this during races, or is this not allowed?

I usually run/ride shirtless when it's 40-45 degrees out and windy.
That being said, I'm 17, in high school and like having a good tan.

When I raced my first tri last summer I went from the swim to my bike and only put on my cleats... just cycled in my jammer. Nobody said anything to me, but I'm not sure what the rules are. Course officials might have just been in a good mood.

As far as I know, the only requirements are pants and a helmet on the bike, and pants and your race number on the run.  I've gone shirtless in all of mine so far.

I live in an area where 100 deg and 100% humidity becomes pretty common.  I never cycled shirtless.  The main reason being I'm really pale and can't get sunscreen on my own back.  I would take a few runs shirtless, because even the best wicking shirt stays SOAKED, and wet fabric on more senstive, round areas of the chest doesn't do to well.  I'll run in a tri jersey or tight tank most of the time though, but even those stay so damp they can feel heavy.
