Pre-race routine:

woke up early at 5. I did some yoga and got some breakfast. Lender's bagel with pb and banana, coffee.got there 1 hr before start.
Event warmup:

Ran 10 with some faster paces for warm up. I don't like warming up but it makes such a difference at the start.

Comments:

great run for me. I tried to not start too fast like I usually do. I kept a really good pace throughout. Just under 9 and 9ish on the hills. I'm very happy with the result. I did a pb and beat my time from last year by 4min. My coach wanted us to have a breakthrough run and finish strong. The last 1.5mile was tough but i finish at a good pace.
What would you do differently?:

have more gatorade and eat my gel earlier.

Warm down:

got some quick food and i had to go to work so...I wish i would have brought a recovery drink..

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I really did my best. I wish i could have really pushed it at the end.

Event comments:

great race and good warmup to marathon, or any long distance event. Very challenging.

Total time was 1:24:52. 8:30am was the start time. I made this race report in a hurry obviously!!
