Yo, homies! So what does everyone have going on this year?

Locally, for me...

5/04: B Gibson Memorial Icebreaker, Regina
5/25: Saskatchewan 1/2 Marathon (maybe)
7/06: Regina Beach Olympic
8/10: River Run 1/2 Marathon (maybe)

I'm still debating doing the sprint at Spin but it's a week before the Chinook HIM. I'll wait and see how May training goes.

Hello Marina!

Good luck with all your races! I was thinking about the Icebreaker, but I heard it filled up super fast!

This year I hope (crossing fingers) to complete (but will definitely compete in):

April - Bridge City Duathlon
May - Y Not Tri It Super Sprint
May - Sask Marathon (Pace Bunny)
June - SPIN
July - Desert HIM
August - Frank Dunn Oly (Relay - the run)
August - River Run
September - QCM
October - Ultramarathon?
November - Silverman HIM

I also want to volunteer to help with Moe's Triathlon in June and Bikes on Broadway in...umm, I forgot...anybody?

Next year, with luck...IMCDA (crossing toes, too).

Everybody have a great year!

Okay...so my race plans are thinning a bit.

No Bridge City Duathlon (unless it is held later)
No Frank Dunn relay

Hmmm...this and I missed the Indoorman in March and had to change from the Prestige HIM to the Desert.

I hope that this isn't a sign for the rest of the year.

My plans
- Icebreaker (Sprint)
- Spin (Olympic)
- Great White North - Stony Plain (HIM)
??? maybe Boreal Off Road tri ???
- Frank Dunn
- QCM (1/2 marathon)

Plus miscellaneous bike races (40K time trial and some road races, then cyclocross in the fall).

Will probably volunteer at Bikes on Broadway (May long weekend) and Moe's.

I can't wait for the weather to improve!

Hey Navarra.

Don't worry about having to change your race plans - we'll get this bad weather out of the way now, so it can be nice for the rest of the year!

Thank goodness! I figure we're due good weather for SPIN then (crossing fingers).
