So who's stuck at work today???? I'm here, but NO ONE is working.  Spent the first hour of the day in the boss's office drinking Amarulla.  Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

Here's a question for you: what's your favourite Christmas movie?  I watch "it's a wonderful life" every year, cry my eyes out and repeat all my favourite lines ..... I LOVE Jimmy Stewart. I guess this really isn't "triathlon talk"

"A Christmas Carol" Not one of the old versions, but the remake done a number of years ago with the late George C. Scott. Wonderful movie. Without fail, I also always watch "Christmas Vacation" with Chevy Chase. And for some weird reason, I never miss watching "The French Connection"...probably for the scene with Gene Hackman dressed in the santa suit!

Popeye's here!!!

"nothing but good stuff in this movie" LOL...how can things be more worse Ellen? We're on the threshold of Hell...

I can't belive we don't have a How the Grinch Stole Christmas yet.
I'd also like to see that cartoon where the kid rat tried to ruin Christmas by breaking his dad's clock. Can't remember what it was called, but I remember loving it as a kid.
The old clay-animation rudolph was great too.
I love Christmas. I'm going to sing carols now instead of work.
Enjoy your Amarillo.

Definitely "It's a Wonderful Life" - but I guess not surprising since pooh bear and I  grew up on the same traditions.

And favourite Christmas book  is "The Polar Bear Express" which my boys love to listen to me read because I always cry when .. oh, I'd  better not tell the story since it has been made into a movie, though I haven't seen it yet...

But the book is beautiful.

No work for me today. Jo, do you EVER stop drinking? LOL

After 37 years, I finally watched It's a Wonderful Life with a special friend last weekend. It's better than I expected, and I guess my favorite for Christmas.

Funny, I just watched the George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol with her recently, too. He was fantastic in that!

Ho, ho, ho, everyone!

I'm with Sann...The Polar Express is my son's *favorite* book....ran out today and bought him a bell from santa's sleigh for him to open up on xmas morning....sigh...he's so excited about christmas and really wants a bell...how cool is that!

As for the movie...eh..eh...eh...wasn't too impressed with it....but the book...rocks.

As for movie...Of course, National Lampoon's xmas vacation is_the_best..."Crapper's Full"...Randy Quaid...oh my.

And then of course...A Christmas Story..."You used *ALL* the glue on purpose!"....that great big prize he won from the contest...and the bunny outfit....oh my, I'm giggling again.

Merry Christmas everyone!

We'll be having the family over tonight to watch "Christmas Carol" (Patrick Stewart version) and "A Christmas Story" (I even set my old BB gun out by the tree as decoration.)

Mr. McGoo's Christmas Carol remains of my favorites from watching it every year at my elementary school.

In no particular order

It's a Wonderful Life
Christmas Vacation
Christmas Story
A Christmas Carol(Alistar Sim version)
And even though it has no real relevance to Christmas, I always end up watching
Bringing up Baby during this time of year

Definately the Christmas Story... I love the part where the little brother is so bundled up he falls over and can't get up.

"A Christmas Story" which brings back great memories of childhood. And for Thanksgiving, you can't beat the John Candy/Steve Martin classic, "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles."
