Comments: The race officials weren't paying attention to me getting out so at the end of the race they asked me how long it took me! :) So the time is a guess. I think I was faster... I felt strong and smooth. What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 1
Comments: You walk out of the pool area, change, then head out the back door and start running... Easy. I talked to people and laughed. It was nice. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: Caught the 8 year old who passed me at the football field on the run just past Abercombie Park and rode like heck so I could keep the lead! :) Fun ride. What would you do differently?: good! I had 2 GUs on the ride. Transition 2
Comments: Got to HS, changed into biking gear, took bike to pavement got on, rode like the wind! Run
Comments: IT WAS AWESOME!! I FELT GREAT. No knee pain at all!! I was first out of the pool and so lead the race for a while... Until the little baldy Coast Guard guy passed me by the hospital. I was still feeling great. I got passed a second time by the football field by an 8 year old (LOL) who I didn't catch until quite a ways into the bike. What would you do differently?: NOTHING Post race
Warm down: When I got to St Paul's Laura and Max were there. We headed back to HS and I got ready to coach Special O. I swam out another 725 because Karen P was there and everyone else was outta the pool. Nice to stretch out. Last updated: 2008-04-18 12:00 AM

Got up, had a a little breakfast with Max. Pancakes and peanut butter with coffee. I decided to see if I could get my start time changed around a little--start at 9 rather than 10 so I could get done early enough to coach Special O swimming.
I showed up around 8:40 and asked Joe then Joel to switch me into earlier group--they were awesome and let me.
