Swim
Comments: The water could not have been more perfect! Flat as can be and a decent current. I started right up front since i a ma srong swimmer..but I dove too soon and should have been running.I looked up as I was breathing and everyone was running around me ..Damn! I never pull stupid stuff like that! So, I got up and did a few dolphin dives and then got into my groove. The wave was pretty packed and didn't thin out til 2/3 of the way through the swim. I did pretty good at drafting and really felt strong on the swim What would you do differently?: Um..not jsut dive right in!!! Transition 1
Comments: Ok, so another dumb move on my par.t Asi C na out of the water i was runnig up teh beach and ran right by the timing mat..like literally to the right of them. There was a volunteer who called to me and told me I needed to come back and touch the mat. Ugh..wated time! I had looked at my watch coming out of the water nad it waxs 9:42..so wasted 35 seconds! Then, I was thinknig about it and ran right past my bike rack! Nice move! Got my socks on and shoes and ran with my bike. the mounting area wasn't set up the best nad people were mounting beofre the line..including me, they were yelling at us to go to the line, not the orange cones. Strange set up. But once i was on the bike I was off adn pedeling! What would you do differently?: Tons! Bike
Comments: I felt soo good on my bike, really one of my best avg's for a race. I was hurting a bit towards the end, but kept thinknig about my friend who was doing the Ironman Arizona and told myself to SUCK IT UP! I turned th final corner and took my feet out of my shoes while on teh bike (I love that I can now do this with ease) ot to dismount and then started runnig with my bike, tripped and ended up flipping over my bike. I got right up, but it Hurt liek hell! There goes my great bike time! What would you do differently?: Train more Transition 2
Comments: Ok, so once I got up from my fall, my front wheel was not moving at all. So, I had to pick my bike up and run with it. (oh did I mention I broke a mirror in a million pieces last night) So, I was running with my bike in my arm and then fuond my rak and got my shoes on. I was hurting from the fall and getting a bit naseus... What would you do differently?: Duh..not fall! Run

Got up and ate a power bar..bags and bike were already to go and I live 5 minutes from the race..gotta love local races :)
Got to the race site and tested out teh water at both the exit nad entrance. Swam a bit to get comfortable
