Event comments:

I loved this race. It was great racing and chatting with the Ironman athletes. The Chinese volunteers and the crowds were amazing. The bike course was a ton of fun... I will do this again if the temps don't get into the 100's.

Can't fathom those temps. On the bike, with cooling wind and lower HR, maybe, but not on the run. I'm impressed that you found a way to tough it out.

Great job!

Great job! Sounds like a blast. Amazing how the temp and humidity can zap you. I looked up the weather in the morning and saw the heat. ouch

Thanks for the comments!

I was definitely not prepared for the heat and humidity. Training in Michigan over the winter for a hot and humid April 70.3 is tough. Considering my traning limitations, I'm very surprised and happy with my performance.

That is very hot, you still managed a good race regardless of the heat/humidity.
