Not the best run for me. The last 10 miler I had good legs at 7 miles..this race I stayed tight all race. (Kept telling myself ..remember this is just a training run, goal is IM LOU)

What would you do differently?:

There are two thing for this race and the first is to get good sleep? the other was to use icy hot to lossen up/ Don't know why I am always so tight... Need to work on stretching I think.
Post race
Warm down:

Nothing special Walked for a little but never really pushed hard so I should be ok.

Course: I started at the 8:30 pace flag. And found a 3:40 ,marathon pacer that targeted 8:23's The first 2 miles were flat and weaving thru the crowed was hard work. High HR and sweating a lot. Next came the park were we climbed 4 hills. I dropped of the pace to keep HR low. Next was a nice down hill. Just passed spider man. I must be doing good. Mile 5 hitting race plan. I caught the pace group on the flats. Water was available every 2 miles. The spectators were great.. Time to pick it up a little. Still very tight. Maybe the hills got me... change it plans. Target the 155 hr for next 5 mile and put in a good finish. Tried to focus on the fum get my mind off the run. Now here was a group you dont see every day, The local chapter of running Elvis' 10 guys dressed in full jump suits pushing a boom box in a stroler. Several Bands playing along the way. mile 10 get ready for the last 5K. Downed my last gel, took in water and off I go. felt ok until mile 11 ..just to tight..I had this feeling befor if I push snap on I am out .. I back off until 12.5 and mad a decent run at the end .. The finish was great with a huge crowd. I had finish my first 1/2 MAry and I was glad it was over.1:52 on the race clock...this gave me a 1:50 for the race. I make this one up to experience and set my sites on week 16 for IM training.
